Jurassic sea

Winter storm at Charmouth.

Winter storm at Charmouth. Not everyone's idea of a good time yet having avoided the closed café and the numerous signs warning me 'Not to stand under the cliffs' I had made my way along the beach towards Lyme Regis. The light was changing quickly, now dull & dark, now light with blues, yellows and silver competing for dominance. I was concentrating on the beach & cliffs, carrying my tripod & camera on my shoulder and setting up for a quick shot as I went. It was not until I had to avoid a large gap in the shingle that I turned to look at the sea. When I had got out of the car the sea appeared grey & uninteresting but now as the wind increased, the waves brought life back to the sea. The picture revealed itself once more.
